Account & Plan

Your account settings live under Settings, with Profile and Usage tabs. Import, export, billing, MCP setup, and the browser extension link are on the Profile tab.

Profile

Set your nickname, an “About you” description (autosaves as you type), language, theme (Light/Dark), timezone, and notification preferences for Insight emails and a weekly digest. You can also change the email address associated with your account, which requires re-authenticating first.

Import and export

• Import notes from a Notion HTML export (.zip) or a Markdown / Obsidian folder of .md files (.zip) — Jade Note reports how many notes were created, skipped, or failed. Import does not restore tags.
• Export notes downloads a single .txt file with your notes, categories, and tag names (plus a tag vocabulary appendix).

Usage

The Usage tab shows your current plan, how many AI credits you’ve used against your limit (with a reset date), how many Trigger runs you’ve used, and your all-time active note count. New accounts start with a 30-day Pro Trial (2,000 AI credits / month). Pro includes 5,000 AI credits / month. After Trial, Free accounts have 0 AI credits / month. Trigger runs are limited to 20 / month on Free and 120 / month on Trial and Pro.

Pro plan and billing

If you’re on the free plan or a trial, an Upgrade to Pro button opens a dialog with two options — a yearly plan ($10/year) and a monthly plan ($1/month), each shown at an introductory price with a price lock while you stay subscribed. Choosing one redirects you to a secure Stripe Checkout page to complete the subscription; if you’re mid-trial, the paid subscription picks up where your trial leaves off.

Once you’re subscribed, the same area shows a Manage billing button instead, which takes you to Stripe’s customer portal to update payment details, change plans, or cancel.
